On reflection Scawthorpe could be more disappointed with the result than the 10 men Terriers team also carrying injuries.

From the whistle the visiting side were more deserved of a goal for their effort in the first 15 mins as it was though the Scorpians against he run of play shot to make it 1-0.

Billy Garland who made some good 1^st saves along the way got a hand to Scawthorpes second but not enough to stop it trickling over the line.

Terriers defensive line of Robbie Marshall, Jake Moody, Henry Pickering and Mac Redfearne respectively were matched in midfields numbers for the restart as they were reduced to 9 men with an injury to Kieran Taylor.

A steady flow of goals notched up the final total despite disruptive play from ‘Weeto’ and captain Ronan Tunnard.  Their outlet for a route to goal was from the new pacy loan signing Josh Bacon who had a baptism of fire on his debut.  Linking with the Terriers top goal scorer this season James Dearing in their line up it was a clean sheet today for him for his efforts.

The last few minutes had the visitors hitting the crossbar from a free kick and the last two efforts on goal from consecutive corners as they were reduced to 9 men again.

Two goals each from Carl Harden, Nathan Brown and Daniel Palmer plus one each for Brad Roberts and Daniel  Hammond retained Scawthorpes unbeaten run which can only add to their hopes this season to retain the Premier league title.

A well deserved round of applause from the travelling supporters was gratefully received by the players and appreciated by their manager.
